Reading the blog, you might learn some new (distressful?) statistics. For example, did you know that the US Federal Government is the largest landowner in the world with over 500,000 buildings. Unfortunately, nearly 14,000 of those buildings are believed to be vacant and not in use.  The burden on taxpayers is over $1.7 billion for operating cost on empty and under-utilized federal-owned properties.
