HIGHLIGHTS:

  • Board Retreat hosted by Milliken Carpet
  • Invited BOMA Atlanta leaders to join us at board retreat
  • Invited past presidents (C. Neldon, M. Dawson) to join us at board retreat
  • Re grouped committees into four (4) silos Education, Communication, Fundraising, People
  • Increased number of Sustaining Patron companies from 36-40 and increased dues 20% from $1250 to $1500 per member company
  • Links were put on website to all Sustaining Patron Companies
  • Links were put on website to BOMA Atlanta and GT FM program
  • Sustaining Patron Logos projected on large screen at all luncheons
  • Hosted four (4) Sustaining Patron roundtable discussions to improve program offering
  • Increased number of committees from 11 to 16 adding, International Liaison, Georgia Tech Liaison, Special Events, Mentoring, & Hospitality
  • Vern Yip of the TV Show Trading Spaces was our January speaker (200 attendees)
  • Luncheon Programs averaged 150 attendees
  • 2nd annual IFMA Showcased had 250 attendees, sold 30 booths, gave away $1,000 in raffle
  • Contributed $5,000. to the YWCA of Greater Atlanta our Community Services Partner
  • The YWCA received its NACYE accreditation
  • Community Services Committee expands reach from one (1) beneficiary agency to seven (7)
  • First satellite IFMA Atlanta luncheons in Cartersville, GA to reach far reaching IFMA Atlanta members
  • Hosted the 3rd annual CFM Review Class
  • Beth Chaplin, Tom Haslach attend first IFMA Summit in Houston, TX
  • Membership grew from 380 members to 456
  • Presented with International awards at WWP Dallas for Website, Newsletter, & Chapter of the Year!
  • IFMA Atlanta Fall Classic Grossed $37,000.
  • Raised $17,000 at IFMA Atlanta Fall Classic
  • Contributed $10,000. to Ga Tech Masters Program in FM
  • Gave $4,000 to the IFMA Foundation
  • Formally decided that IFMA Showcased would support the YWCA, Fall Classic would support GA Tech
  • Membership Committee hosted 4 New Member Orientations
  • Special Events Committee Held 6 special events; a wine tasting at Joel, Theatre night, Braves Game, Fall Classic,
  • International Committee hosted international speaker for November program
  • Hummingbird Award was introduced to recognize more IFMA Atlanta members for strong contributions
  • Website re-organized and expanded
  • On-line event registration implemented
