IFMA Academic Relations Committee focuses on building connections between students at all levels (high school and above) and the Facility Management Profession. We maintain close relationships with Georgia Tech and Kennesaw State University where college level courses in FM are taught. We believe that by introducing students to the profession of FM through engagement with working professionals, we can help them see the importance of professional networking – while also introducing our members to a pool of potential new employees. If you are an IFMA Atlanta member who is looking for an intern, is able to provide a shadowing opportunity for a student, or just interested in helping get the next generation into the profession – you are a great candidate for this committee.
