The Communications Committee’s mission is to “increase IFMA Atlanta’s presence in the social media world”. This committee is responsible for the website, blog, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Flickr, the newsletter, annual report, and all other communication-related application.
The Communications committee meets once per month to discuss ideas and information to be published on our social media outlets. Our goal is to provide exposure of member’s achievements, develop relevant articles, meet and recruit professional members to author guest articles for the newsletter, highlight new and current events and to emphasize our sponsors within the Atlanta chapter.
Being on this committee provides unique opportunities to have direct input on information that is communicated within the organization to help grow and engage all members. It also provides exposure for you and the opportunity to get to know professional and associate members within other parts of the organization.
Serving on the Communications committee can be very helpful in advancing in your career, as well as giving you a chance to have a significant impact within the organization.
