This course will provide facility, building owners, & property managers with the basic understanding of the principles relating to roofing with the importance of maintenance cost, & budgets.
Learning Objective 1
The objective of this course is to provide the participant with the basic understanding of the principals relating to roofing and the relationship to property management.

The participants will learn how to determine where their roof is with respect to its lifecycle and how to manage roof related decisions.

Other topics include types of decks, insulation, roofing systems, & restoration systems.
Presenter: Jay Thornton
Bio: Owner and founding partner of Parsons Roofing Co. Mr. Thornton founded Parsons
in 2013 with extensive knowledge in the building industry. Mr. Thornton’s family has
been in construction since the 1800’s in the greater Atlanta area. Mr. Thornton is a
graduate of the University of Georgia.
