“The power goes out. Are you prepared? What do you do? In this seminar, you will learn what to do when you experience a power outage. It provides you with an in-depth overview of emergency power systems and foundational understanding of the critical role of the generator. You will learn basic generator theory, maintenance practices, NFPA 110 guidelines, and foundational triage procedures, such as how to reset your system when the backup fails. You will also learn the most common system failures, their roots causes, and what you can do to safely get your system back up and running while help is on the way. By the end of this seminar, you will not only have a foundational understanding of emergency power systems and the role of the generator, but you will also know what basic steps to take when the power goes out and how to troubleshoot a failed system.”
