Come join us on this amazing tour to explore the secrets of the Georgia Aquarium and discover some of their most popular exhibits from a view that only a Behind-the-Scenes Tour can give you! The speaker: Heather McKeen, the Vice President of Facilities and Operations, is responsible for the buildings and property of the Georgia Aquarium which comprises of 604,000 square feet, 8 million gallons of water and 10,000 species of fish and animal; this is a tour you don’t want to miss!
- Go behind closed doors to unlock the secrets of day to day operations at the Georgia Aquarium.
- Observe where they care for the animals and prepare their food as you visit the commissary and veterinary clinic.
- Enjoy the view at the top of the worlds largest exhibit (Ocean Voyager, built by The Home Depot) and observe the world’s largest fish, the whale shark, as it swims below you.
- Learn what it takes to support and run the largest exhibit in the world while viewing the incredible Ocean Voyager filtration system.
