This presentation will outline the importance of having a workplace violence training program for your firm. Additionally, we will discuss the elements of proper and safe training and being able to identify the appropriate training for the culture of your firm. The presentation will last approximately 60 minutes with questions and answers. The three main objectives of the course are: learning the importance of prevention methods, developing a site specific response plan and understanding the importance of testing the plan. After the presentation, the listener will be able to identify whether or not their firm needs a policy and training regarding workplace violence. Additionally, the listener will be able to distinguish between a proper training plan and one that is unsafe and generic.
