IFMA Atlanta Chapter, in partnership with the Georgia Center for Nonprofit (GCN), offers a Certificate of Nonprofit Facilities Management through the GCN Nonprofit University. Several of IFMA Atlanta facility managers have taught classes in this training to teach how to plan, renovate, and maintain facilities with minimum impact on operating programs. The program consists of five (5) classes lasting for three (3) hours each. Currently, the program includes introductory classes in Facility Condition Assessment , Facility Maintenance Manual, Renovations and Construction, Sustainable Facility Practices, and Facility Safety and Security. In preparation for the 2019-2020 class, we are considering an additional training opportunity which includes an intermediate level course in the same areas or potentially another area. If you are interested in teaching either an introductory or intermediate class this year, please contact Dr. Charles Marshall, Vice President, IFMA Atlanta Chapter by September 7, 2019.
