The mission of IFMA Atlanta Community Services Committee is to assist nonprofit organizations in improving their facilities, maximizing the value of their facility dollars so that more funds can go to their program operations. From the forming of the Committee in 1997, we have grown from serving one Nonprofit Partner to serving twelve partners this past year. We accomplish this through the help, support, in-kind donations, and services of our professional and associate members, and we are grateful to so many of you for your involvement!
At the IFMA Atlanta July luncheon meeting, we recognized our retiring, returning, and new partners. Having completed their facility goals and retiring from partnership: Center for Puppetry Arts, CHRIS Kids, Georgia Lions Lighthouse Foundation, and Jerusalem House. Renewing their partnership: A Friend’s House, Atlanta Community ToolBank, Clarkston Community Center, Decatur Cooperative Ministry, The Elaine Clark Center, Furniture Bank of Metro Atlanta, and Project Community Connections. Becoming IFMA Atlanta Nonprofit Partners for the first time: Atlanta Mission, which has acquired previous partner Atlanta Day Shelter for Women and Children, Covenant House Georgia, and Safe America Foundation.
We invite you to bring your experience with designing, constructing, and managing facilities to the Community Services Committee and join us in serving these Nonprofit Partners.
