Facility Fusion 2018 in Chicago was a memorable event for all attendees, but especially for the Atlanta Chapter of IFMA in our 35th year! The esteemed Kathy Roper (author, professor, IFMA ATL Past Chapter President, industry expert, etc) represented the chapter well as she always does and taught an engaging session on leadership and personal development. I had the pleasure of presenting alongside IFMA ATL Past President Machelle Pellegrini and Vice President Debi Gilbert on best practices, succession planning and other initiatives we’ve been focusing on for the Atlanta Chapter the last 3 years. Our chapter continues to be one of the most respected in the country and we have been fortunate to form great partnerships with other chapters and continue to learn from their wealth of knowledge. We will be hosting Fusion in Atlanta next year and began planning with IFMA International about 6 months ago. You will not want to miss Fusion 2019!
You also don’t want to miss our next quarterly program in May where we will feature industry leaders from the closing session at Fusion that have agreed to speak at the brand new Avalon Hotel (first of its kind in Georgia!) in Alpharetta. Mike Petrusky from the FM Innovator podcast will be moderating the panel and the plan is to broadcast portions of the program to his national audience so be sure to come out and be a part of the recording and tour the newest “connected” hotel! Cheers to the next 35 years.
