The mission of IFMA Atlanta Community Services Committee is to assist nonprofit organizations in improving their facilities, maximizing the value of their facility dollars so that more funds can go to their program operations. From the forming of the Committee in 1997, we have grown from serving one Nonprofit Partner to serving ten partners this past year. We accomplish this through the help, support, in-kind donations, and services of our professional and associate members, and we are grateful to so many of you for your involvement!
At the IFMA Atlanta July luncheon meeting, we recognized our partners, retiring and returning. Having completed its facility goals and retiring from partnership: Furniture Bank of Metro Atlanta. Renewing their partnership: A Friend’s House, Atlanta Community ToolBank, Atlanta Mission, Clarkston Community Center, Covenant House Georgia, Decatur Cooperative Ministry, The Elaine Clark Center, and Project Community Connections. Returning to partnership: Child Development Association.
We invite you to bring your experience with designing, constructing, and managing facilities to the Community Services Committee and join us in serving these Nonprofit Partners. Contact Community Services Chair, Haydn Fusia, 770-414-9099, [email protected], for more information.
